The Courtyard is just a couple blocks from the DoubleTree where business will occur. Book ASAP using the link below to get this special rate! Hurry – you must book at the Courtyard by Thursday March 10!
- Are you traveling to convention but need a room to stay in?
- Do you have a room for convention but there is space for another roommate?
- Did you think of everything except a ride to get to Delaware?
If you answered yes to any of the above questions, then check out our “NEDAA Roomie?” form to post what you need and connect with other Alumni!
HEALTH AND SAFETY FOR CONVENTION:
Below is the information shared with us by Steve Nelson.
COVID Protocols for District Events and Conventions
Kappa Kappa Psi and Tau Beta Sigma are committed to providing all attendees with a safe experience during our District Events and Conventions. The National Councils will provide updated guidance to district leadership regarding the operation of conventions, as we get closer to each event.
Opportunities put into place for enhanced safety will include optimizing meeting spaces for socially distanced engagements, seating of fewer attendees at dining tables and having strategically placed hand sanitizing stations at each event.
In order to participate in District Convention activities, all attendees will be required to sign a liability waiver when checking in for the event.
When preparing to attend in-person District Events and Conventions, we encourage attendees to be mindful of the following:
- Those choosing to attend in-person should familiarize themselves with the current COVID-19 recommendations for the area where the event will take place.
- We encourage all attendees to take a rapid COVID-19 test before traveling to an in-person District Event or Convention. Additionally, attendees who test positive should not attend the event.
- All attendees are strongly encouraged to follow specific health and safety protocols, including mask wearing, frequent hand washing, and maintaining distance from other attendees.
As you continue to prepare to attend your District’s Convention, please do not hesitate to reach out to the National Headquarters Staff with any questions or concerns you may have by emailing email@example.com. We hope to see you soon!
This year NEDAA is again working to ensure the integrity of our votes by streamlining our proxy process.
All NEDAA members should fill out this form. This includes members who plan to attend convention as well as those who cannot make it. This is so that if anyone is not present during a vote, another NEDAA member will be able to cast a vote in their name.
This form must be filled out prior to 11:59pm on Thursday March 17th.
35th Anniversary Emerald Celebration
